Café May in January

Ansi and I decided it was high time to meet up again. The decision was quick. She suggested breakfast at 10. I suggested Café May. We had a date.

Rediscovering San Francisco

I'm using the term "rediscovering" very loosely here. The last time I was in San Francisco, I was maybe eight years old and, to be quite frank, I mostly remember seeing the Golden Gate Bridge from the vista point. And only because we have a picture of it.

San Diego #4 +LA

As this was our last day in San Diego, we decided to get out of bed quickly to make the most of the day. After a quick bite in bed, the sun was tickling us through the window so we threw on some clothes and tadadadaaa... took the bikes. What a surprise...

San Diego #3

To start off 2014 the right way, we slept in. Needless to say, we didn't feel like wandering around to get breakfast, so we just stayed at the hotel and had a bite there. They have granola and yogurt and fruit, oh lucky me! (For those of you who enjoy heartier things, they also have waffles, bacon, potatoes, eggs, toast, muffins etc. You won't leave starving.)

San Diego #2 (NYE)

My sister and I are somewhat snobby when it comes to breakfast. What I mean is, plain toast and coffee just won't do. So we dragged everyone to this cute little place called "Café 976".

San Diego #1

I couldn't even count how many times I've been there. Every time we arrive, it just feels homey and nice, we have our little routine and everyone does their own thing. We always stay at the Pacific Terrace Hotel in Pacific Beach so basically you can walk everywhere you need to go. I think I've never had to go further inland than like 3 blocks and everything you need is along the beach (a great place for families).

Throughout the years we have figured out which restaurants we like most and I will fill you in. I'm sure you're all dying to find out, aren't you?

From AZ to food to CA

I know we're already almost half through January and everyone seems to have forgotten all about the New Year, let alone Christmas. Don't worry, I won't hold an endless monologue about my holidays or anything, but what I will do is fill you in on a few tips. Mostly restaurant or food tips, scattered with maybe a few travel tips. Sounds good?
